Common questions

How do I add the lock-screen widget?
  1. Long-press your lock screen and tap Customize.
  2. Tap the lock screen, then tap a widget slot.
  3. Find Professor Pip in the list and add it.
  4. Tap Done. A new word will appear each hour.
The widget isn't updating.

iOS controls widget refresh timing, so updates can occasionally be delayed. Try removing and re-adding the widget, or open the Professor Pip app once to refresh shared data. Make sure Background App Refresh is enabled for Professor Pip in Settings.

How do I change which topics the widget pulls from?

Open Professor Pip and follow or unfollow topics. The widget rotates words only from topics you currently follow.

How do I start the free trial?

Tap any locked topic or finish onboarding to see the paywall. Pip Annual is $59.99/year with a 3-day free trial. You can cancel any time from your Apple subscription settings.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Sign in to the same Apple ID, open Professor Pip, go to Settings inside the app, and tap Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name → SubscriptionsPip AnnualCancel Subscription. Or open Professor Pip and tap Manage Subscription, which deep-links to the same place.

I was charged but the app still says I'm not subscribed.

Tap Restore Purchases in the app. If that doesn't fix it, email gdroel@gmail.com with your Apple receipt and we'll sort it out.
